28 DAYS LATER TITLE SEQUENCE

Using abstract analog footage, we aimed to capture the film’s underlying themes of infection and societal collapse while maintaining ambiguity.

In collaboration with Kylie La Tour-Telles and Ketric Petersen.

EXPERIMENTATION

Keeping our desired visual style in mind, we explored different methods of manipulating ink and water to obtain the footage. Utilizing a macro lens, we found that gritty and parasitic feeling, while water tank experiments evoked visuals of a quick moving, sinister mass.

TYPOGRAPHY

The texture and fluidity of scanography blended the digital type with the organic movements of ink.
